The motion blur in this shot
looks a bit too fast; keep in mind that wind turbinse havea cutout of up
to roughly 24m/s winds a twhich point I *think* they slow their
turbines dow nand lock the blades.
I'm not matehmatically
inclined so I couldn't owrk otu th emaths behindi t for oyu, but I'm
fairly sure they have a fairly slow rotational rate. Some youtube videos
ought to help you get an ieda.
Besieds this, unles syou've

too sharp, glossy, and most particularly, tehy look like the'yre
Using the plastic-glossy shdaer under arch-mats
(assuming Autodesk included it for Maya) and thne turning donw the
erflection value to around 0.,4 the 0-degree reflectionst o around
0.05-0.1 and 90-degree reflections to raound 0.5-0.7 with an anisotropy
of around 0.4 should give you a significantly omre realistic effect of a
painted metal surface.
The actual blades on the turbines are
made fo fiberglass, among other things ,so they'll be dull in comparison
to the utrbine's structur e(just a slight bit of gloss, very light
